How To Create New Buttons For Your InventoryStores

Here are some GREAT links to make free changes to the design and look of your InventoryStores dropship site. This guide will tell you how to generate a zip file for buttons for free to replace the current style on your site.

If you use a default template or one of the free templates that InventoryStores provides to our Hosted sites, then this is a new way to take a free InventoryStores template and give it the look or style you want.

1) Oscbuttons

This link will let you create buttons. It gives you several options for people with specific needs, but it is not as user friendly as some tools.

2) Oscommerce Button Generator by Adzak:

This osCommerce tool is VERY easy. Just pick the font, font color, and font language. Also you have several button styles to choose from a drop down list. This tool is very easy to use and is perfect for someone wanting to use a few basic style choices in a color that they prefer.

3) Oscommerce-buttons:

This tool gives you a much larger selection of button choices then the OsCommerce Button Generator, but it is not as designed as well. After you make your color and font selections, you need to scroll to the bottom of the site. This will give you images of a large selection of buttons for your site. Select the one you like. There is no clear "create" or "make my buttons" button, but after you click on the main page when you have made your selections, another page will appear. This will give you the sample of your buttons and an option to save them in a zip file.

To find and replace the buttons on your template you need to FTP into your site. From the main www directory of your site you need to find you Template folder. Then in the Template folder you will see the template names. Select the one that is currently on your site or the template that you want to save the new buttons to on your site.

So from your site's main directory the path is Templates/your template name / Images / Buttons/ English.

When you save your buttons, make sure they have the correct name structure. You can overwrite the new buttons. With the file name the same as the old style, when a button is called by the template it will display the same file name which will now use your new free osCommerce CRE Loaded buttons.
